Two new faces have been named in the Silver Ferns team to take on the England Roses in next month’s Cadbury Netball Series where they will play for the Taini Jamison Trophy. 

Two new faces have been called into the Silver Ferns Squad while another two former Ferns have earned a recall. 

The Netball New Zealand (NNZ) Board confirmed today that Grace Nweke has advised NNZ she will play in the Australian domestic competition in 2025.
Following their success in the traditional format, Yvette McCausland-Durie (head coach) and Tia Winikerei (assistant coach) will join forces to coach the FAST5 Ferns at the FAST5 Netball World Series in Christchurch from November 9-10. 

Netball New Zealand has confirmed Briony Akle will join the Silver Ferns management as a specialist coach for their upcoming international campaigns. 

New Zealand national selectors have named 28 trialists ahead of next month’s Cadbury Netball Series against England and the Constellation Cup against the Australian Diamonds. 

Netball New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of former Silver Fern Debbie Fuller as the Silver Ferns Assistant coach. Fuller brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the game and will join Silver Ferns Head coach Dame Noeline Taurua in guiding the national team through its upcoming campaigns.  The role as previously, is a part-time assistant coach role to support the Silver Ferns program.

The Silver Ferns are set to take on the England Roses and Australian Diamonds later this year with tickets now on public sale.

Silver Ferns Jane Watson and Te Paea Selby-Rickit have both confirmed they will be unavailable for selection for this year’s Silver Ferns Squad. 

Netball will be showcased on Sky in 2025, following confirmation today that Netball New Zealand and Sky have agreed a one-year extension to their existing broadcasting partnership.

Dame Noeline Taurua has been reappointed as Silver Ferns head coach following a comprehensive recruitment process from Netball New Zealand (NNZ).
