The Mystics defensive duo of Julie Corletto and Temalisi Fakahokotau worked well together producing their fair share of turnover ball and midcourter Nadia Loveday showed why she is one to watch in the future with superb speed and vision through the centre third and accurate feeds into shooters Maria Tutaia and Cathrine Latu.
Behind 21-10 at half-time, Fitzgerald rang in the changes inserting Jo Harten and Ellen Halpenny into the attacking circle, Kathrine Coffin into wing defence and Leana de Bruin into goal keep to pair with Price. Casey Kopua played the first half as she manages her return from ankle surgery.
