Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty (NWBOP) would like to announce the long list of young aspiring netballers in our Zone who have been identified throughout the 2018 competitive netball season. This group of athletes are invited to take part in the Level 1 & Level 2 programmes.

The Level 1 programme involves one full day camp on Sunday 28th October in Tokoroa (10am – 4.45pm). If athletes are unavailable to attend, a reserve list of athletes will be invited. At the conclusion of the Level 1 programme, athletes who present at a high level will be invited to participate in the Performance Level 2 programme that continues throughout the 2019 season.

The Level 2 programme starts with a one day camp on Sunday 25th November also in Tokoroa. From this camp players will be part of a programme that involves monthly training and match play opportunities with a variety of players from throughout the zone. Further detail regarding the programme will be presented at the day camp.

Athletes must confirm their attendance by registering through Sporty & paying the $70 player cost for the camp (which includes physical testing, specialist coaching & game profiling, as well as a NWBOP Magic in the Making training singlet)

NWBOP would like to take this opportunity to thank the large group of netball talent scouts and selectors who represent the full geographical reach of our Zone and who dedicated a great deal of time to ensure every athlete competing in the NWBOP Zone tournaments and Netball NZ age group and UNISS tournaments were given time to be seen and scouted through our “Magic in the Making” Scouting and Selection system.
