Are you …

• A keen, hardworking netballer who would like to be considered for selection into the WBOP Zone Performance Squads for 2020/2021
• Under 16 as at 31 Dec 2020 (Year 10 and above)

• or Under 18 as at 31 Dec 2020
• Available to attend (if selected) the Magic in the Making Zone Performance Days
• Under 16’s : 11 October 2020 – Taupo Events Centre
• Under 18’s : 18 October 2020 – Cambridge High School
• U16’s/U18’s : 14 February 2021 – Cambridge High School

NB: Players need to be a current affiliated member of a netball centre in the Waikato Bay of Plenty zone (if your local centre is not running netball this year, please contact Rachel Davis directly – see contact details at the end of the flyer.

Then this is for you ….

• Netball WBOP Wintec Talent ID Roadshows will be held around the Zone in August/September 2020.
• This is an opportunity for you to show that you are keen and capable to be considered for selection into our Zone Pathway Squads for the 2020-21 Zone Programme.

TALENT ID ROADSHOW PROGRAMME:

Duration 4 hours – will involve:

• Attendance register & welcome
• Warm Up
• Fitness testing
• Netball Fundamental Skill activities
• Match play
• Warm down

Players will receive their fitness results and a 6 week S&C programme for netballers post roadshow

Cost:

• There is a $10 fee to cover venue hire, travel and expenses.
• This needs to be paid at time of registration on Sporty (Credit card, Debit card or Bank transfer)
• There will be no refund for non-attendance

Roadshow Dates & Registration (Choose one):

• You may choose to attend any ONE of the five sessions.
• There is a limit of 60 players to any session – first in!
• We will need to close registrations once the 60 player limit has been reached, but you are welcome to attend any of the other sessions where there is still space.

Selection Process:

• After attendance at a Roadshow players will be notified via email if they have gained selection into the “Magic in the Making Pathway” programme by the 21st Sept 2020.
• All players need to accept/decline entry into the programme by 28^th September 2020
• The squad lists will be on the Zone website (https://netballwbop.co.nz/)and Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone Facebook page on 21st September by 5pm.
